Volkscraft was established back in 2006 by Matt Smith who is a Fully trained VW Group Master Technician. Matt started the company as a sole trader catering for VAG owners, enthusiasts and dealing with engine tuning and diagnostic jobs for other garages. Using the experience he gained from working within the VAG dealer network, Matt has gained a reputation for attention to detail, cleanliness, customer care and for curing faults other general garages can’t manage. Offering a true alternative to VAG main dealer Service. Over the years we have gathered many loyal customers, some even becoming long term friends. Familiarity to our customers and their pride and joy not only makes our job very easy, but satisfying too!
Volkscraft Diagnostic became Volkscraft (Exeter) Ltd in 2010, workforce expanded to include Matts Wife Jo and another Technician. The workshop continued to grow offering more services and comprehensive specialist tooling including: VCDS diagnostics, key programming, Air conditioning service, and on site MOT testing.
Our staff are hand picked for their enthusiasm towards the job and attention to detail. This contributes towards our high standard of work which means we are able to carry out service or repair work to your vehicle even when it is within its manufacture warranty period. We only use genuine or good quality after-market parts and we are also suppliers for some of the best tuning companies in the VW scene.
We have the latest specialist equipment for Volkswagen, Audi, Seat & Skoda, provided directly from the manufacturers, this allows us to repair you vehicle as efficiently and as cost effectively as possible.

Volkscraft Complaints Policy
We always endeavour to provide the best service and products for our customers. However, on rare occasions, we recognise that there may be time where our customers are not completely satisfied.
In the unlikely event there is anything you are not completely satisfied with, please contact us as soon as you can in order that we can rectify any problems as soon as possible. We aim to respond within 10 days of receiving your complaint and where possible, will provide you with a date to remedy any issues raised.
Where we are unable to resolve your complaint, as a Which? Trusted trader we use Ombudsman Services Ltd for dispute resolution. If we are unable to remedy your complaint to your satisfaction, you may wish to refer your complaint to them.
